I know myself it’s a big decision to start a business on your own and that’s why it was a pleasure to help Natalie take a step towards her dream of making a living doing something she loved. The only requirement was that she wanted it to have a cupcake in it and that it must work well as an icon for her social media accounts.

I created a logo with a simple cupcake icon, that uses bold, clear and classic typography mixed with the modern current trend of handwritten type to symbolise the creativity of her baking. The colours of ‘icing sugar pink’ and ‘cookie dough’ brown were clear favourites for the overall brand.
